Pancasila and citizenship Education Subyect is a subject that focuses on the formation of citizens who understand and can implement their Rights and obligations to become a smart , skilled and character and have characteristic as an Indonesian cticizen.
The formulation of the problem is how abaut learning motivation of the student class VIII / b in SMP Ihsaniyah Tegal is ?. Is using democration held material can in prove the learning motivation?.
The purpose of this Research is knowing PKn learning using democration held material that can improve learning motivation of the students of class VIII/ b of SMP Ihsaniyah Tegal in Academic Year 2010/2011.
This study took place in SMP Ihsaniyah Tegal, the Population of this study are all the students of class VIII /b, who numbered 39 students as well as a semple besed on researceh using Action Research class by using democration held can be obtained as follows ; The understanding of the students abaut democration held material in improving student learning motivation in the first cycle the score is 17 it is a good category. While the activity of explaining and concluding the material is enongh category the deflarency in the first eycle is fixed in the second cycle.
The Efforts of improving student learning motivation in PKn subyect using democration held material for the VIII/ b student of SMP Ihsaniyah Kota Tegal in Academic Year 2010 / 2011 can be implemented in Action Research class. based on the first cyle the results of the clasical learning graduation is 77.78 % with the average is 67.64 . In the second cyclethe result of the clasical learning graduation is 97.22 % with an average is 76.67. While the affective and psychomotor assessment in the First cycle the result of the clasical learning graduation is 65.9 % and the second cyle it increase become 87.8 %.
Based on the result of the research , the teachers is recommended in oeder to in learning Pancasila and citizenship education is important to improve the student motivation it can be done with make the student learn actively way to train students in the caurage of expression in correctly. This in hope that it can improve the motivation and interest of the student so the student achievement is increase.
