ztabel = 2,576 yang berarti H0 yang menyatakan: "Tidak ada pengaruh komitmen terhadap kinerja pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Tegal" adalah ditolak dan menerima H1 yang menyatakan: "Ada pengaruh komitmen terhadap kinerja pegawai di Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Tegal". 3) Dari hasil analisis koefisien determinasi diketahui bahwa 37,95% variasi dari kinerja pegawai Sekretariat Daerah Kabupaten Tegal dapat dijelaskan oleh variasi variabel komitmen pegawai, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 62,05% dijelaskan oleh variasi variabel lain yang tidak dimasukkan dalam model. Hendaknya dalam meningkatkan kinerja pegawai Setda Kabupaten Tegal dapat dilakukan dengan meningkatkan komitmen pegawai baik komitmen afektif, kontinuan maupun komitmen normatif. Penelitian di masa yang akan datang hendaknya meneliti faktor yang mempengaruhi kinerja selain komitmen seperti motivasi, kompetensi, dan lain sebagainya. Main problems in this research: "Is there any influence of commitment to employee performance in Tegal District Secretariat?". Referring to the fundamental problems, a main goal of this research is to know the effect of commitment to employee performance in Tegal District Secretariat. The population in this research that all civil servants in the Secretariat of Regency Tegal that's number 204. While the sample in this study were 50 people assigned on the basis of proportionate stratified random sampling technique. Data were collected through questionnaire and documentation and analyzed using Pearson Product Moment correlation techniques, simple linear regression, and analysis of determination. The results showed that employee commitment has a positive effect on staff performance in Tegal District Secretariat. This is evident from: 1) Obtaining the correlation coefficient of 0.616 means that the relationship between commitment to the regional Tegal District Secretariat employee performance can be categorized as strong and positive, which means higher employee commitment, it will have a tendency associated with higher employee performance. This also applies vice versa. 2) From the linear regression equation showed that z = 5.414> ztabel = 2.576 which means H0 that states: "There is no influence of commitment to employee performance in Tegal District Secretariat" is rejected and H1 accepted which states: "There is the influence of commitment to employee performance in Tegal District Secretariat. " 3) From the analysis determinant coefficient of variation is known that 37.95% of employee performance Tegal District Secretariat can be explained by variations in civil commitment variable, while the rest equal to 62.05% variation explained by other variables not included in the model. It should be in improving employee performance Tegal District Secretariat can be done by increasing employee commitment to both affective commitment, normative commitment continuants as well.
