ttabel = 2,76 yang berarti menyatakan bahwa hipotesis nihil ditolak dan menerima hipotesis alternatif yang menyatakan : "Terdapat perbedaan prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPS Ekonomi antara sebelum dan sesudah penggunaan Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) pada siswa kelas VII Semester I SMP Negeri 3 Pangkah Tahun Pelajaran 2010/2011 . Dengan demikian, maka hipotesis penelitian terbukti secara empiris. Peranan penggunaan LKS dapat diketahui dari tingkat prestasi siswa, di mana sebelum penggunaan LKS nilai rata-rata dari tes formatif siswa sebesar 61,66, kemudian setelah adanya penggunaan LKS nilai rata-rata tes formatif menjadi 80,83. Dalam penggunaan LKS, hendaknya guru merencanakan terlebih dahulu secara sistematis agar hasilnya dapat efektif. Guru hendaknya juga tidak berfokus pada peningkatan prestasi belajar saja melainkan memperhatikan faktor-faktor yang menyebabkan kesulitan belajar pada siswanya dan berupaya meningkatkan kualitas pemahaman siswa terhadap materi pelajaran yang disampaikan. This study aims to determine the use of Worksheet Economic IPS Siswaterhadap learning achievement in class VII Semester SMP Negeri 3 Pangkah school year 2010/2011. The population in this study are all students of class VII Semester SMP Negeri 3 Pangkah Academic Year 2010-2011 are a number of 360 students. While the sample is used only students who have the absorptive capacity of Economics Social Science subjects less than 75% of some 30 students. The method used in data collection is the method of documentation, literature and tests. The analytical method used is by using t-test. From the results of hypothesis testing using t-test obtained by value t count of 34.171. Tcount to further consultation with ttable at 99% significance level (or ? = 1%) with N-1 degrees of freedom is 30-1 = 29, where acquired ttable = 2.76. Apparently from the results of the calculation data showed that t count = 34.171> ttable = 2.76 which means that null hypothesis is rejected and accept the alternative hypothesis which states: "There is a difference in student achievement in social studies subjects Economy between before and after use of the Student Worksheet (LKS) on class VII Semester SMP Negeri 3 Pangkah Academic Year 2010/2011. Thus, the hypothesis empirically proven research.
