Results of mental health research have a significant relationship with the psychomotor development for students in grade 8 VIII of MTs NU Maarif Sigedong Bumijawa Tegal districts of the academic year 2010-2011. This is evident from the primary data collection through questionnaire / poll. Product moment correlation formulation produces rhitung (correlation rxy) amounted 0.748, is positive and greater than rtabel = 0.312. Because rhitung> rtabel. This means accepting the working hypothesis (Ha) that suggests "there was a significant relationship between mental health with personality development psychomotor grade VIII students of MTs NU Maarif Sigedong Bumijawa Tegal districts of the academic year 2010-2011 . Rumusan masalah penelitian bagaimanakah kesehatan mental siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011?. Bagaimanakah perkembangan kepribadian psikomotorik siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011?. Apakah ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kesehatan mental dengan perkembangan kepribadian psikomotorik siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011?. Tujuan yang hendak dicapai dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui: Kesehatan mental siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011. Perkembangan kepribadian psikomotorik siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian menggunakan metode deskriptif korelasional, Populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011 yang berjumlah 40 jumlah pengambilan sampel adalah sesuai dengan jumlah populasinya, yaitu 40 siswa. (penelitian populaif). Analisis data amenggunakan korelasi product moment.
Hasil penelitian kesehatan mental memiliki hubungan yang signifikan dengan perkembangan kepribadian psikomotorik bagi siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011. Ini terbutkti dari pengumpulan data primer melalui kuesioner/angket. Formulasi korelasi product moment menghasilkan rhitung (korelasi rxy) sebesar 0,748, adalah positif dan lebih besar dari rtabel = 0,312. Karena rhitung > r tabel . Hal ini berarti menerima hipotesis kerja (Ha) yang mengemukakan 'Ada ada hubungan yang signifikan antara kesehatan mental dengan perkembangan kepribadian psikomotorik siswa kelas VIII MTs Maarif NU Sigedong Bumijawa Kabupaten Tegal Tahun Pelajaran 2010-2011'.
