The purpose of this research is to describe the influence of using CALL (Computer Assisted Language Learning) in teaching vocabulary achievement . To focus of the study is how CALL in teaching vocabulary is applied.
Development of science and technology today has allowed the implementation of the learning occurs by utilizing a variety of science and technology-based media. One is the use of computers as a medium of learning. Computer technology with all its excellence has been able to provide a new alternative in presenting learning activities. Various problems faced by conventional learning patterns began to resolve. This makes the computer as a medium of learning is increasingly important and increasingly necessary
. In connection with the media, then CALL be come one alternative to provide service learning to students in a more dynamic and fun. As part of the electronic learning system (e-learning), CALL uses the computer media as the primary medium for learning. And with its superiority, CALL can the provide learning materials through text, images, audio, or a combination of text, images, and audio. This course will give added value in the preparation of learning materials that will ultimately increase the interest and motivation to study. Interest and motivation to learn has been believed to increase the absorption of students in their lessons.
The research was carried out in SDN Dukuh Payung Brebes regency. The writer uses test for getting data about the influence of using CALL tuwords Vocabulary . The writer uses Try Out who were considered knowing the problem of the research.
The result of the study showed that the influence of using CALL to student vocabulary achievement was applied. It can be seen from the process of teaching – learning that the students were active and enjoyed. The student’s dominated the process teaching – learning.
It is suggested that teacher must able to more reading more references To help student to get a maximal knowledge ability in studying English. By these ways, it may help the teaching – learning maximal.
