PROFESIONALISASI GURU SMK BERBASIS KINERJA
The research is aimen ata (1) gaining the explanation whether there is or there is not approprianteness of the model established from empirical data, dan (2) gaining the explanation on how great the contribution of the determination factrors is to teacher’ work performance. this research applies measurement model. is tis an approach using “confirmatory factor analysis”. the population of the research is teacher of enginnering in all state vacational shcool in central java in the scond semester in academic year 2004-2005. the sample is obtained trrough “multi stage cluster area ramdom sampling technigue”. the data are gathered through a closed questionnaire. the data are analyzed by coeffecient determination analysis lisrel-8.51. The result show that the model is appropriate with the empirical data. the model to optimalize the role og engineering teacher of the of state vocational school in the future, especially in icreasing the quality of teacher’ competence primarily in relation the leadership and entrepreneurship of the teacher as well as their technology personality. thus, incraising the role of teacher of stat vocational school in the future is recommended to be well prepared by means of certification of trough a competence test for the candidates of engineering teacher.
