The Objective of this research is to find out wheter or not the use of Spelling Bee give possitive effect toward students’ reading achievement on the first year in MTs. NU 01 Tarub in the academic year of 2011/2012. Based on the theory of thinking, the research hypothesis is proposed as follows: The use of Spelling Bee gives positive effect on the students reading achievement of the seventh grade student of Mts. NU 01 Tarub in the academic of 2011/2012.
