The Effectiveness of integrated technique in English vocabulary learning to the fourth grade students ( An experimental study in SD Negeri Kesuben 01 Academic years 2010/2011)

This study aims to determine students 'mastery of vocabulary are taught using the Integrated technique teaching vocabulary English for student elementary school .Based on the theoretical basis and frame of mind then the research hypothesis can be formulated as follows: the use of integrated techniques provides a more positive influence than not using Integrated Techniques in the teaching of vocabulary for students elementary school.
The population of this study are fourth grade students SD Negeri Kesuben 01 District Lebaksiu Tegal regency, the number of population are 60 students. The writer uses two groups they are experimental classes and control class. Each group consists of 30 student. The first group is students who are taught using the integrated techniques and the second group is students who are not taught using integrated techniques
( Communicate Method).
The writer uses the tests as research instruments. The test takes 1 x 35 minutes. Types of tests given are multiple choice with four options A, B, C, D. to determine the reliability and validity of the instrument, the authors have tested the instrument by giving the test to 30 students who have the same ability to research samples.
The research data is obtained from the results of tests of vocabulary (vocabulary) English given to the study sample analysis of data from this study is calculated with the formula t-test. on the basis of the results of data analysis, obtained t count is 2.6342. At the 0.05% level, t-tables obtained by 2.045. Which means, t-count is greater than the t-table (2.6342> 2.045). This shows the process of learning English vocabulary by using the Integrated Technique at fourth grade students gave a more positive influence than not using Integrated Techniques( Communicate Method).The writer suggest to the teacher who teach English to use integrated technique in improving vocabulary
