However, the students of control group are taught without using peer review technique.

Pre test is conducted to get the data of basic students’ writing skill and to make sure that both group had the same ability before they received treatment. Post test is conducted to find out the result of the whole treatment and to find out whether there are any differences between students’ score of experimental and control group. Meanwhile, questionnaire is conducted in order to investigate the students’ response towards the using of peer review in writing narrative text.
The data of experimental and control group is analyzed by using SPSS program, version 16.0. Based on Pearson’s correlation computation, the level of significance (α) is 5% and the result of pearson correlation is 0.406=0.41. It means that the scale of pearson correlation is 0.40 - 0.599. It can be concluded that Peer Review gives a large positive effect to the experimental group.
Based on Levene's test, the result of computation of independent t-test shows that t-test is 2.524 with the degree of freedom (df) is 62. The level of significance (α) is 5% and the t-table is 1.670. It means that t-test is higher than t-table (2.524 > 1.670). It can be conclude that there is significant difference between experimental group and control group.
From the questionnaire result, 59% students answer that they agree that Peer Review technique helps them to get better in improving their writing narrative text. Furthermore, 38% of them strongly agree. Students do not only get feedback from their friends, but also learn from their friends’ mistakes.
