Each group consists of 30 students. The writer gives reading test (try out test) in multiple choices form to the different group. The total number of reading test is 50. Try out test is done to get the validity and reliability of the instrument. After computing the validity and reliability, the writer conducts the research in eight meetings and applies reading test (posttest) which consists of 30 questions in multiple choices form to the experiment group and control group.
Data analysis of this research is computed by using t-test. Based on the result with the degree of freedom (df) 58 on the level significant of 5%, t-table is 1,645 while the t-test is 2,429, it shows that t-ratio is higher than t-table (2,429>1,645). Based on posttest computing analysis result, it is also found that the mean of experiment group is 7,41 and mean of control group is 6,89. It means that mean of experiment group is higher than control group (7,41>6,89). Based on the result, it can be stated that hypothesis of this research (H1) is accepted.
