DEVELOPING A MODEL OF CLASSROOM LANGUAGE TO TEACHING ENGLISH FOR KINDERGARTEN STUDENTS (Research and Development to the students of TK Binladik I,TK Hang Tuah 16 Tegal, TK Aisyiyah Pekauman Kulon in the Academic Year of 2016/2017)

Teaching language, especially English to children needs teacher’s skills to manage the children in the classroom, and also teacher’s good knowledge of the language in teaching learning process. Children need more than simple language to enrich their knowledge. A model of classroom language is needed to teach language to children to make it more interesting, innovative and attractive for them to understand English easily.
The objectives of this research are: (1) To find out the existing models of classroom language in the English teaching learning process at kindergarten (2) To find out what kinds of classroom language model needed by the students at kindergarten (3) To develop a classroom language model for kindergarten students.
The design of this research is Research and Development (R&D). This research comes to four steps: (1) Literary Analysis, (2) Need Analysis, (3) Developing, (4) Validity Model. The population of this research is 18 students and 3 teachers at TK Binladik 1, 39 students and 5 teachers at TK Hang Tuah and 106 students and 8 teachers at TK Aisyiyah Pekauman Kulon. The total number of the population is 163 students and 16 teachers.
The data is analyzed using questionnaire and interview. The finding showed the model classroom language to teach English for kindergarten students is a helpful guide for teachers to teach English for kindergarten students. Consequently, good teachers can motivate children, build on their prior knowledge and strengths, and support their learning using a variety of strategies to increase their skill, knowledge, and understandings.
