The objective of this research is to find out if the picture simulation in teaching gives positive effect towards the students elementary level of writing skill (Student of SMP Negeri 5 Adiwerna)
Based on the review of the theory, the hypothesis of this research is proposed as follows. "The picture simulation in teaching gives positive effect towards the students achievement of writing skill".
This research is done by classifying sample into two groups, which consists of 30 students of each group. The sample is taken by random sampling. The first group consists of the students who get picture simulation in teaching and the second group consists of the students who do not get picture simulation in teaching.
Data analysis of this research is tested by using t-test, to test the difference of the mean of two groups. The result of the analysis shows that t-test is 2,95 and the level significance 1% gained t-table 2,39 which means that the result of t-test is higher than t-table (2,95 > 2,39). There is a significant difference of achievement of writing between the students who get picture simulation in teaching and those who do not.
The conclusion of this research " Picture simulation in teaching gives positive effect towards writing skill".
