The objective of this research is to find out the difficult factors faced by thr tenth grade students of SMK in Brebes Regency, in learning English Grammar in academic year 2009/2010.
The population of this research is all of the tenth grade students of SMK in Brebes Regency who have difficulties in studying English grammar in academic year 2009/2010, the number of the population is 198 students. The sample comsist of 60 students, the sample are taken by random sampling technique. The writer used a questionnaire to collect the data.
The writer used a questionnaire as the instrument of the research. The questionnaire consist of 30 items which has four options. To know the validity and realibility, the writer tried out the instrument by giving the questionnaire to 10 students in SMK Pusponegoro Brebes who have the same difficulties in learning English grammar with the sample of this research. The writer uses the formula Percentage descriptive stastistics to analyze the data.
The result of this research is that problematic factors which are often faced by the tenth grade students of SMK in Brebes Regency in academic year 2009/2010 have concern with the interest and talent factors with percentage 81,25%, if it consult with the settled in the formula Percentage descriptive is very obstruct.
The conclusion of the research is that difficuty factors faced by the tenth grade students of SMK in Brebes regency in learning English grammar are caused by interest and talent factors.
