English : Based of the background of the problem the low performance of teachers of High School Pagerbarang 1; it is assumpted that the style of headmaster leadership in period 2006-2010 as one of the factors which can affect the teachers' performance; the statement of the research problem is: "How is the correlation of style of headmaster leadership in period 2006-2010 with the performance of the teachers of High School Pagerbarang 1?" The objective of the research is to find out the correlation of style of headmaster leadership in period 2006-2010 with the performance of teachers of High School Pagerbarang 1. The hypothesis of the research is: It is assumpted that style of headmaster leadership has a significant correlation with the performance of teachers of High School Pagerbarang 1 in period 2006-2010. The method of data collecting is observation and questionairre in Likert grades. The population of the research is 40 teachers of High School Pagerbarang 1 that all of them taken as the research samples. The Analysis of Correlation of Spearman Rank is used as the data analysis method. The Z test is used as the hypothesis test. Based on the data analysis, the rs = 0,67; this value means that style of headmaster leadership in period 2006-2010 has a positive and very powerful correlation with the the performance of teachers of High School Pagerbarang 1. Meanwhile, Z value = 4,17 > Z(0,025) 1,960 which means it is can be concluded that style of headmaster leadership in period 2006-2010 has a significant correlation with the the performance of teachers of High School Pagerbarang 1." />

Dilatarbelakangi dengan kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal yang dinilai sangat berketergantungan dengan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah berdasarkan hasil observasi; perumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah: "Bagaimana Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dengan Kinerja Guru Sma Negeri 1 Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal Tahun 2006-2010?"
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui Hubungan Gaya Kepemimpinan Kepala Sekolah Dengan Kinerja Guru Sma Negeri 1 Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal Tahun 2006-2010.
Hipotesis penelitian ini adalah: Diduga terdapat hubungan yang signifikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dengan Kinerja guru SMA 1 Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal Tahun 2006-2010.
Penelitian dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal dengan metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah observasi dan angket skala likert. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMA Negeri 1 Pagerbarang sejumlah 40 orang yang seluruhnya diambil sebagai sampel penelitian. Metode anlisis data menggunakan Analisis Korelasi Spearman Rank dan uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan uji Z.
Dari hasil analisis data didapat nilai rs = 0,67, maka dapat diinterpretasikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah periode Tahun 2006-2010 berhubungan positif dan kuat terhadap kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal. Nilai Z = 4,17 > Z(0,025) 1,960, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat hubungan signifikan gaya kepemimpinan kepala sekolah periode tahun 2006-2010 dengan kinerja guru di SMA Negeri 1 Pagerbarang Kabupaten Tegal.
