The hypothesis is proposed that "There is a significant influence between the implementation of the Religious Counseling and Control Emotions in the eight grade students in Junior High School N 01 Tanjung Brebes Academic Year 2009/2010". The population of this study is the eight grade students at Junior High School N 01 Tanjung Brebes, which have a low emotional control as many as 120 students. This sample was taken by 30 students from 120 students using proportional sampling technique. Data collection methods are such as questionnaires, interviews, and documentation while the data analysis method used the product moment correlation technique. The results of this study was obtained through a questionnaire that given to students. The outcome of product moment correlation, then the figures obtained with r value 0.708 on 30 with 5% significance level is 0.361 r value table. The value of r count on the value of r table (0.708>0.361). This shows that the research hypothesis is accepted. The implementation of religious counseling services is 56.66% of the total achievement of 100%, while the emotional control is 63.33% of the total achievement of 100%. Therefore, it can be concluded that there was a significant influence in the implementation of religious counseling for emotional control in the eight grade students in junior high school N 01 Tanjung Brebes Academic Year 2009/2010." />

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh adanya permasalahan tentang rendahnya pengendalian emosi pada kalangan remaja terutama siswa SMP kelas VIII. Hal ini disebabkan karena belum maksimalnya peran guru untuk ikut membantu membentuk pengendalian emosi pada siswa, sehingga siswa mempunyai pengendalian emosi yang baik. Maka diperlukan sebuah layanan bimbingan konseling terutama layanan konseling agama.
Tujuan diadakannya penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh yang signifikan dalam pelaksanaan Konseling Agama terhadap Pengendalian Emosi pada Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 01 Tanjung Kabupaten Brebes Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010.
Hipotesis yang diajukan yaitu "Terdapat pengaruh secara signifikan antara pelaksanaan Konseling Agama dan Pengendalian Emosi pada Siswa Kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 01 Tanjung Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010". Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 01 Tanjung yang mempunyai pengendalian emosi rendah yaitu sebanyak 120 siswa. Sampel ini diambil sebesar 30 siswa dari 120 siswa dengan menggunakan teknik proporsional sampling. Metode pengumpulan datanya berupa angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Adapun metode analisis data yang digunakan adalah dengan teknik korelasi product moment.
Hasil penelitian ini diperoleh melalui angket yang diberikan kepada siswa. Dari hasil perhitungan dengan korelasi product moment, maka diperoleh angka sebanyak 0,708 dengan nilai r tabel pada 30 dengan taraf signifikan 5% nilai r tabel adalah 0,361. Besarnya nilai r hitung pada nilai r tabel (0,708>0,361). Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa hipotesis penelitian ini diterima. Pelaksanaan layanan konseling agama adalah 56,66% dari total pencapaian 100%, sedangkan pengendalian emosinya 63,33% dari total pencapaian 100%.
