Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh pelaksanaan layanan bimbingan pribadi terhadap perubahan persepsi diri pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bulakamba Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010.
Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bulakamba Kabupaten Brebes tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 yang berjumlah 318 siswa yang memiliki persepsi positif dan negatif terhadap dirinya. Sampel dalam penelitian ini ditetapkan 12,5 % dari jumlah populasi = 39,75 siswa dibulatkan menjadi 40 siswa yang memiliki persepsi diri yang negatif. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan dengan teknik cluster random sampling yaitu pengambilan sampel secara acak.
Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan rumus korelasi product moment.
Dari hasil analisis data, ditemukan r hitung = 0.421 kemudian rhitung dikonsultasikan dengan nilai r tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% diperoleh r tabel = 0.312. Maka r hitung > r tabel (0.421 > 0.312), hal ini menunjukkan bahwa ternyata nilai r hitung lebih besar r tabel pada taraf signifikan 5% yang berarti dapat dikatakan bahwa dan hipotesis kerja (Ha) yang berbunyi "Ada Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Layanan Bimbingan Pribadi terhadap Perubahan Persepsi Diri pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bulakamba Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010", dinyatakan diterima dan hipotesis nihil (Ho) yang berbunyi "Tidak Ada Pengaruh Pelaksanaan Layanan Bimbingan Pribadi terhadap Perubahan Persepsi Diri pada Siswa Kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Bulakamba Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010", dinyatakan ditolak.
Kesimpulannya adalah bahwa hasil penelitian skripsi ini telah terbukti benar-benar menunjukkan ada pengaruh yang positif antara layanan bimbingan pribadi terhadap perubahan persepsi diri pada siswa kelas VII SMPN 1 Bulakamba Tahun Pelajaran 2009/2010.
Saran yang dapat disampaikan dari hasil penelitian ini di antaranya adalah pelaksanaan layanan Bimbingan pribadi harus terus ditingkatkan untuk dapat merubah persepsi diri siswa khususnya di SMP Negeri 1 Bulakamba kabupaten Brebes.

This Research target is to know the influence of personal tuition service execution to change x'self perception of student of class VII SMPN 1 Bulakamba of School Year 2009 / 2010.
Population in this research is all of student of class VII SMPN 1 Bulakamba of school year 2009 / 2010 a number of 318 student who have positif and negative perceptions about them self. Sample in this research is specified by 12,5 % from population amount = 39,75 student rounded up to 40 student who has negative perception about himself. Sample intake done by cluster random sampling technique that is sample intake at random.
Method of data collecting used are enquette, observation, interview, and documentation. The data analyse technique use the formula of product moment correlation.
From the data analyse result, found that rcount = 0.421 later; then rcount consulted with the value of rtable at level signifikan 5% obtained rtable = 0.312.
