Permasalahan yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1. Bagaimanakah pelaksanaan dari Multiple Picture - Cued Selection? 2. Bagaimana cara Multiple Picture - Cued Selection meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan siswa? 3. Bagaimana Multiple Picture - Cued Selection dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa dalam listening? Sedangkan tujuan yang ingin dicapai adalah untuk 1. Mengetahui pelaksanaan proses belajar mengajar dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan siswa melalui Multiple Picture - Cued Selection. 2. Mengetahui pengaruh dari Multiple Picture - Cued Selection dalam meningkatkan kemampuan mendengarkan siswa. 3. Mengetahui bagaimana Multiple Picture - Cued Selection dalam meningkatkan ketertarikan siswa dalam listening?
Objek penelitian ini adalah siswa Kelas V SD Negeri Mintaragen 6 Kota Tegal, tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 yang berjumlah 36 siswa.
Dalam penelitian ini penulis menggunakan metode tes, kuesioner dalam bentuk tes listening dan observasi (mengamati). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan membagikan tes listening, angket untuk mengetahui ketertarikan siswa terhadap listening, dan lembar observasi. Sedangkan data nilai diperoleh dari nilai hasil tes pada semester I dan semester II tahun pelajaran 2009/2010. Untuk membandingkan pencapaian nilai Bahasa Inggris siswa sebelum dan sesudah diajar dengan menggunakan tehnik Multiple Picture - Cued Selection.
Dari hasil penelitian dapat diambil kesimpulan yang antara lain sebagai berikut:
1. Pembelajaran dengan menggunakan tehnik Multiple Picture - Cued Selection dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa di dalam kelas.
2. Reaksi siswa terhadap materi yang dideskripsikan oleh guru sangat baik dan mereka terlihat menikmati bembelajaran tersebut.
3. Hasil pembelajaran lebih baik daripada sebelumnya.
4. Siswa meresa percaya diri dengan kemampuan mendengarkan mereka.
5. Kemampuan mendengarkan siswa meningkat melalui tehnik Multiple Picture - Cued Selection.
6. Siswa lebih terbiasa mendengar dan mempraktekkan kata-kata Berbahasa Inggris.
Adapun saran untuk guru dan instansi yang terkait adalah agar tidak hentinya memberi motivasi belajar terhadap siswa didiknya serta terus meningkatkan mutu pembelajaran.

The problems that submitted in this research are: 1. How is the implementation of Multiple Picture - Cued Selection? 2. How would Multiple Picture - Cued Selection improve students listening skill? 3. How would Multiple Picture - Cued Selection enhance student's interest in listening? And the purposes of this research are: 1. To figure out the implementation of teaching and learning process in improving student listening skill through Multiple Picture - Cued Selection. 2. To find out the effect of Multiple Picture - Cued Selection in improving students listening skill. 3. To find out how far is Multiple Picture - Cued Selection in enhancing students interest in listening.
The objects of this research are students at the fifth grade of Mintaragen 6 Elementary School - Kota Tegal - academic year 2009/2010 that consist of 36 (thirty six) students.
The writer used test method, questionnaire in listening test form, and observation to the students activities in this research. The technique of collecting data was done by giving listening test, questionnaire to know the students of interest in listening section, and observation sheet. While the data score got from students worksheet of the first and the second semester in academic year 2009/2010, in order to compare the students achievement score in English lesson before and after taught by using Multiple Picture - Cued Selection.
The writer could take conclusions that related to the research, those were:
1. Leaning by using Multiple Picture - Cued Selection technique could raise students activeness in the classroom.
2. Students reaction to the material which was described very well and they could enjoy it.
3. The result of students worksheet was better than before.
4. They felt comfort with their listening skill.
5. Students listening skill improved through Multiple Picture - Cued Selection
6. Students were familiar to listen and practice English words.
Beside that, the writer suggested for the teacher and the school not to stop gave study motivation to their students and also they always improved the teaching and learning process quality.
