Understanding the vocabulary is generally regarded as an important part of the process of learning a language or develops ones' ability in a language that is already occupied. Mastery of vocabulary is the most fundamental thing that must be controlled by a person in learning English language as a foreign language for all students.
The choice of Media in teaching will highly influence students' success in learning. Wordwall Media will help teachers to relate subject matter content to students' real lives so that the students know the benefits of learning in the class. Wordwall media will give the students time to practice the target language and to reflect them. In other words, the students will be able to improve their ability or competence in English. English ability is the ability of the four skills (Listening, Speaking, Reading and Writing).
This classroom action research was done in 3 (three) cycles. Each cycle consists of 1) Planning, 2) Action, 3) Observation, 4) Reflection which lasts about 2 (two) months. The subject of this research is 4th grade students of SD N Sindang 02. In order to know the students' vocabulary mastery, the result of each test was analyzed. The participation of the students during the teaching and learning process was gained from the result of the observation. Teacher's performance as additional data was also analyzed.
The indicator of the CAR's success is if a student has reached the individual passing criteria at least score of 60.00 and the Classical Passing Criteria is if the total of the students who get score 60.00 or more is minimally 65 % from the total of the students. The research result shows that the classical average in first cycle is 65,16. There is one student who get score lower than 60.00. in the second cycle, the classical average has improved 71,98, even there is student still get score lower than 60.00. Cycle 3 was done to repair the weakness of the two cycle before. In the last cycle the classical average improved 80,11 and the result research shows that no one who get score lower than 60.00.
Based on the result, it can be concluded that students' vocabulary mastery has improved. By using Wordwall media, vocabulary learning in the class will communicative and fun so that the students' vocabulary in English will increase due to continue to exist in their memory. The classroom action research is deemed necessary by teacher in order to get maximum result of teaching and learning process.
